Thousands Embark on Fasting and Prayer Season for Spiritual Growth

|TOP|Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC), an interdenominational and international church that hosts 12,000 people weekly, is looking forward to a power packed month of nightly meetings throughout the month of June, as they embark on their Fasting and Prayer season.

Held twice yearly in June and December at the Miracle Centre in Waterden Road, this series of meetings has been entitled “All Round Breakthrough,” where thousands will commit to ‘give up’ something for spiritual growth.

According to the church, fasting and prayer are fundamental principles of the Christian faith, which enable believers to experience breakthroughs over difficult circumstances and revitalise areas of their personal faith.

|AD|KICC’s Senior Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo says: “Fasting and prayer are important aspects of the Christian life which, when undertaken with wisdom, brings us ever closer to God. They can also enable us to see the power of God at work in spite of the circumstances we are facing”.

Services will run from 1st June to 30th June on Mondays to Fridays at 6.45pm, Saturdays at 5.00pm and Sunday services as normal, 9.00am, 11.00am and 7.00pm.

Encouraged to fast safely, everyone participating will be given a fact sheet outlining the do’s and don’ts of fasting.

KICC has five UK branches – KICC Birmingham, KICC French Connection, KICC Luton, KICC South West (Wimbledon) and KICC Wembley. Its many ministries and community activities include a Hope line telephone service, educational counselling and the annual KICC Champions Walk. KICC is a major provider of Christian programmes to radio and TV stations that broadcast to millions of people across the world.
