"Klaroline" followers have been voicing out their petition ever since to bring Caroline (Candice Accola-King) to "The Originals." The character, which originated from "The Vampire Diaries," is now free to move to the spin-off series as the former had its series finale earlier this year. As per the latest reports, the much-awaited Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Caroline reunion will definitely happen, and Caroline will be seen in season 5 for two episodes.

According to the latest scoop, "The Originals" season 5 will not only feature Caroline in just one episode. Based on the leaked episodes titles of the upcoming fifth season, it is likely that the character will be present in at least two episodes. To note, the prediction is only based on the episode titles, which means that there is a chance for Caroline to appear in three or more episodes. For now, the rumors are rife that Caroline will be in the season 5 premiere episode.

So far in the series, the worlds of Caroline and Klaus have started to intertwine once again. Back in season 4, Klaus's hyrbid daughter, Hope Mikaelson (Summer Fontana), was sent to a special school for supernatural children, run by no other than Caroline Forbes herself. This means that there is now a bigger chance for the two to cross paths.

The love team of Caroline and Klaus started in "The Vampire Diaries," and the viewers were captured by their chemistry, even as their relationship had been mostly complicated. However, in "The Originals" season 5, fans are hopeful that the characters will end up with each other, given that either of them are not in a romantic relationship.

As for the series' return, CW has not yet announced a specific date for the fifth season premiere of "The Originals." According to TV Guide, the supernatural drama was confirmed for a midseason premiere in spring 2018, unlike the first three seasons that went for a full run. Season 5 will be the final chapter of the series, as announced by the series' new showrunner, Julie Plec.
