'The Originals' season 2: Hayley devastated, Cami leader of human faction, and TVD crossover

"The Originals" season 1 debuted on a high note and they ended the season with that same high note too. Every fan is still reeling from the gripping season finale and there are already rumors and speculations about the upcoming season.

WetPaint made their own speculations about what's to come in the "The Originals" season 2, starting off with Cami being a faction leader. Cami being the only human among the supernaturals is a tough role. But with the death of her uncle, Cami might just be the leader of the human faction.

WetPaint, like the fans of the show, are hoping that there will be more crossovers with "The Vampire Diaries." Michael Trevino's character Tyler did this in the first season, but it was "pretty lame."

In season 2, more of the evil Correa family will be seen. During the first season, the Correa family was able to double-cross the Mikaelsons. They were able to kill tons of vampires. Expect them to still be vicious and evil in the second season.

What about the Mikaelson family? Many are hoping that there will be a Mikaelson family reunion, with all of the clan members finally together. It would really be nice to see all the original vampires, not trying to kill one another for a day or two.

As for Hayley, who lost her hybrid child, she will be journeying a dark path. Phoebe Tonkin, who plays Hayley, spoke with E! Online and said "We're going to see a very broken, a very lost Hayley. She doesn't know who she is anymore. She not only doesn't know where she came from, she doesn't know who she is right now. It's sad and it's heartbreaking."

Furthermore, there will be two new characters in season 2. Sonja Sohn will play Lenore, a very powerful witch who is after Klaus. Daniel Sharman will play Kaleb.

Season 2 is looking up to be another great season for "The Originals." The show will be back on October 2014.
