'The Good Wife' season 6 spoilers: Eli and Alicia team up to stop potential voter fraud in episode 19 'Winning Ugly'

 CBS

Alicia may have prevailed in the battle for the State Attorney seat, but this is the part where more problems actually spring up. In the next episode of "The Good Wife" titled "Winning Ugly," her new position is threatened (again) by what the synopsis describes as a "potential voter fraud."

In order to stop the demanded recount of votes, Eli and Alicia devise their plans to put a stop to it. Their joined powers are not enough to do so, thus they get much-needed help from a highly-esteemed civil rights lawyer named Spencer Randolph to do the job.

The next "The Good Wife" episode will also reveal one fatal mistake Diane inadvertently committed. The leakage of the evidence that involves the release of Cary Agos from prison puts Florrick/ Agos/ Lockhart in a precarious position, not to mention affects Alicia's State Attorney post.

As it turns out, Diane herself submitted false evidence of Cary's case without knowing. The issues surrounding the law firm just don't end, and more and more people (not just Alicia's competitors) are raring to see the new State Attorney go down.

Christine Baranski, who plays Diane in the series, is said to be leaving "The Good Wife" after season 6. It remains to be seen how her character will be written off although viewers can easily formulate ideas on how that will happen, considering what troubles her character is into at the moment.

The next installment looks like the character will do just about everything to prevent a bulk of incriminating evidence from getting to the wrong hands or worse, reaching the eyes of the public. How will things end for the lawyer in this season? It certainly will be interesting to see.

Before looking so much ahead, fans can watch episode 19 of "The Good Wife" season 6 "Winning Ugly" on April 12.
