'The Elder Scrolls: Legends' news: Game still being worked on, is almost ready

"The Elder Scrolls: Legends" is a card-based game and will be available for the PC and mobile devices. Many fans are eagerly and patiently waiting for it, and one fan summoned Bethesda Vice President of PR and Marketing Pete Hines on Twitter regarding its release.

"I have a $1000 I'm about to spend on Hearthstone," the fan started, "but if you show us some TES Legends I might change my mind;)."

Hines then replied, "yeah, i don't really go for that. We're getting closer to talking about it and showing the game but not there yet."

"The Elder Scrolls: Legends" was first announced by Bethesda at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015. From that day on, nothing concrete seems to have surfaced about the game, no other trailer, no gameplay, and not even artworks.

GameSpot added that Bethesda, the game publisher, announced back in December 2015 that the company will not be launching the game yet. "The Elder Scrolls: Legends" still needs to be polished and will be ready by 2016. No time frame was even mentioned.

Very little is known about the game, only which types of characters it will be including, namely Orcs, Elves, Nords, Khajit, and Ghouls. "The Elder Scrolls: Legends" is Bethesda's counter-offer to Blizzard's popular "Heartstone," thus explaining the somewhat threatening tone of the fan who approached Hines on Twitter.

In "Heartstone," players needs to build up a deck of cards with all that power, skills and magic, and beat the AI bosses and other human players online.

Bethesda's upcoming card-based game is free to download and install. In-game purchases may be required, just like "Fallout: Shelter," which popped out all of a sudden. There is a possibility that the game company will also surprise its fans, and when it is ready, it will be out in the open.

Rumor has it that "The Elder Scrolls: Legends" will be unveiled during E3 2016, set to happen from June 14 to 16 in Los Angeles.
