"The Cross- Jesus In China"

Currently there are 70 million Christians in China; it is really amazing since China is an atheistic country. China is a big harvest field and many souls are waiting to hear the gospel. "Open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest!" (John 4:35)

China Soul Inc., who produced "China's Confession", took 3 years to finish this film "The Cross -- Jesus In China". This four hour film "presents the real life and internal world of the contemporary Chinese Christians of all walks of life. It reports the bloody footprints of famous Chinese Christians of the old generation, including Wang Ming Dao, John Sung, Watchman Nee etc. It records touching testimonies of many young Christians dedicated to ministry after the Cultural Revolution."

The crew went to China to give a comprehensive and profound report on the churches there, especially the non-official home churches, including their history of persecution.

This film is a 3 VCD series but has an extra VCD on a special topic. The total is 4 CDs and the total length of the set is about 4 hours.

First hour: "The Spring of Life" reports the real life and internal world of the contemporay Chinese Christians of all walks of life: including farmers, students, officials, orphans, gangsters, actors, scholars, writers, scientists and enterpreneuers.

Second hour: "The Seed of Blood" shows from the Ching Dynasty till the past fifty years, the Chinese Christians of the 20th century including Wang Ming Dao, John Song, Watchman Nee, Yuan Xiang Chen, Samuel Lin, Xie Mo Shan etc.

Third hour: "The Bitter Cup" presents many touching testimonies of many young Christians dedicated to the ministries after the Cultural Revolution. They stood firm in the Lord even under persecution, and that caused a great revival in China.
Fourth hour: Features the music and the amazing story of a farm girl Xiao Ming, a high school dropout with no musical training. Under the touch of the Holy Spirit has sung almost a thousand beautiful hymns sung by Chinese Churches both overseas and in China.
The purpose of producing this "Cross" film is to record a part of the history and present the reality of Christianity in China. This film is an encouragement to churches overseas, and also a gift to every Christian.

The director is the Yuan Zhi Ming, who also direct "China Confessions" and his own testimonies "Why I believe in Jesus".
