In the next episode of "The Blacklist," Agent Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone) starts searching for her husband Tom's (Ryan Eggold) killers.

The trailer for the upcoming installment, which is titled "The Informant," was just released recently, and it shows Elizabeth back at her apartment where Tom was killed. She opens up boxes of papers pertaining to his murder and starts to piece the puzzle together. She is hoping that the documents will give her a clue as to the identity of the killers.

She also surveys the crime scene and observes the dried blood on the ground, hoping to find anything that the killers may have left behind. It seems she may have discovered a lead in the case as she goes after a potential conspirator and ambushes him.

She appears suddenly behind the backseat of his car and points a knife at his throat. "If you panic, you run out of air. And without air, you can't answer my questions. And if you don't answer my questions, I'll kill you," she says to the suspect in a threatening manner.

In the meantime, Director Harold Cooper (Harry Lennix) visits Elizabeth's dad Raymond Reddington (James Spader). "Elizabeth is back. She is determined to find Tom's killers," the elderly man says to Cooper. It remains to be seen if Elizabeth will be able to keep focused on catching the murderers without getting herself harmed in the process.

In the last episode, Elizabeth lived in a remote area in the mountains to recover from her ordeal. However, she stumbled upon a group of mobsters whom she killed ruthlessly. It turned out that she wanted to hunt them down as a form of "practice" before she went after Tom's killers.

"The Blacklist" season 5 episode 10 will hit the airwaves on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
