After the explosive events that happened during last week's episode of "The Blacklist" season 2, more nerve-racking scenes will be featured in the next installment of the series.

In this episode, the team will be looking into a case that involves a ruthless cult leader who is plotting a dodgy terror attack.

The official episode synopsis of "The Blacklist" season 2 episode 12 was posted by Carter Matt, which reads:

"When Red (James Spader) tips Liz (Megan Boone) off on the disappearance of Justin Kenyon (Stephen Bogardus), a polygamous cult leader with dangerous shipping containers buried on his property, the task force sets out to investigate. Meanwhile Red utilizes his sources to appease Fitch's last words and travels to track down his hidden safe."

It seems like all forces are against Red and Liz, but the two must work out with the team in order to prevent the cult leader from succeeding.

Meanwhile, "The Blacklist" executive producer John Eisendrath dished out on the real health condition of FBI counter-terrorism team leader Harold Cooper (Harry Lennix).

"He will be tested in ways that he's never been tested before and tempted to do things that are darker than he has ever done before when balanced against his health," the executive producer shared, as quoted by Entertainment Weekly.

In the upcoming episodes, viewers will find out what his real illness is, after Red teased about it at the beginning of the season. Series creator Jon Bokenkamp also discussed it during his own interview with TVLine. Bokenkamp said that Harold's condition will greatly affect his relationship with Red, the rest of the team, as well as his own family. How will this affect everyone? This arc will be tackled in the second half of "The Blacklist" Season 2.

The next episode of "The Blacklist" is slated to air on Thursday, Feb. 19, on NBC.
