'Big Bang Theory' season 8 episode 19 news: Sitcom on a hiatus

Fans will not be seeing Sheldon and the gang in another crazy antic until next month. "The Big Bang Theory" is on a long break and is set to come back in two weeks, April 2 to be exact, for episode 19 of the sitcom's eighth season.

According to Carter Matt, the hiatus is there for multiple reasons. First, CBS is clearing the way for the NCAA tournament, which is deemed too big not to prioritize. In addition to that, the site also believes that a time away is the cue for the network to show some reruns of the episodes.

As fans know, season 8 of "The Big Bang Theory" is nearing its conclusion. There are only six installments left for the current season. The odds are, CBS will not make the wait easy and will not lay it all out in one big time shot.

Carter Matt surmises CBS will bring out a couple of "The Big Bang Theory" episodes and take some time away again. Come May, the network will prepare viewers for season 8's curtain call.

Before the season ends though, "Victorious" star Matt Bennett will drop by and introduce himself as Wolowitz's half-brother. In the April 9 episode of the series titled "The Fortification Implementation," Bennett will star as Josh who shows up out of nowhere claiming to be related to Wolowitz . What will Wolowitz do upon knowing this?

Meanwhile, it is likely that a promo for episode 19 will be released soon. For now, "The Big Bang Theory" leaves viewers and fans with the culmination of Sheldon and Leonard's attribution issue with their paper. Details for the new episode of the show remain unreachable.
