'The Big Bang Theory' season 10 spoilers: Premiere continues trail from season 9 finale

 CBS

"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 ended with Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) father, Alfred (Judd Hirsch), and Sheldon's (Jim Parsons) mother, Mary (Laurie Metcalf) going out together. As revealed by Cinema Blend, season 10 is going to pick up right where season 9 left off and the characters dealing with what just happened.

"After Sheldon's mother and Leonard's father share an evening together, everyone deals with an awkward morning the next day. Also, Penny's family arrives for the wedding ceremony, including her anxiety-ridden mother, Susan (Katey Sagal), and her drug dealing brother, Randall (Jack McBrayer)," reads the official log line for season 10.

As Sheldon and Leonard deal with the fact that their parents are getting together, whether for something short-term or maybe even leading to marriage which would make Leonard and Sheldon step-brothers, they will also need to deal with Leonard's mother Beverly (Christine Baranski) given the fact she had insulted Alfred and Mary the day before.

In a previous report it was revealed that Penny's (Kaley Cuoco) brother and mother will be causing trouble for Penny and her father Wyatt (Keith Carradine). This will run parallel with Leonard and Sheldon dealing with the problems brought on by their parents and Sheldon's usual unorthodox antics.

Fans speculate that the rest of the premiere episode will tackle the rest of Leonard and Penny's celebration. Back in season 9 the couple had agreed to do their wedding celebration a second time since their families were not present during their initial wedding in Las Vegas.

There is also the fact that season 9 also introduced the fact that Howard (Simon Helberg) has a family, particularly a half-brother which he did manage to connect with. Season 10 will likely explore this relationship further and help Howard move on following the death of his mother.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 will premiere this Sept. 19.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
