'The Big Bang Theory' season 10 episode 7 spoilers: Sheldon finds out Amy's lie

Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) on "The Big Bang Theory" CBS

Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Sheldon's (Jim Parsons) relationship is going to hit another hurdle in "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 episode 7. Titled "The Veracity Elasticity," it will focus on Sheldon finding out that Amy had lied to him. The episode will also showcase Penny (Kaley Cuoco) doing something behind Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) back.

According to the official synopsis, as per Cartermatt, Amy will be lying to Sheldon about the repairs being done to her apartment so that she can continue living with him. It is implied he will discover this lie and then go on about the whole day wondering how and why Amy could do that to him.

The report points out that Sheldon is a very sensitive person, particularly when it comes to trust and dealing with emotions since he has always been one to go with logic and reasoning over his own feelings. A separate report from Ecumenical News even reveals that he feels even more devastated about the betrayal since he had relented in sharing Netflix passwords with Amy.

Leonard, on the other hand, will discover that Penny has been secretly moving some of his collectibles to storage. When he finds out about it, he'll confront Penny, and they will decide to consider redecorating Sheldon's room. This may mean Sheldon's room will now be used for Leonard's stuff given that Sheldon now stays with Penny.

How Sheldon will take this news is yet to be seen, but with the way Sheldon has been very protective of his spot on the couch and his traditions and routines, it is very likely he will not like it. This comes particularly after the fact that he has lived in that room for over a decade now.

The story surrounding Rajesh (Kunal Nayyar), Howard (Simon Helberg), and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) is yet to be revealed.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 episode 7 will air on Nov. 3.
