The 100 season 5 episode 10 spoilers: next episode, 'The Warriors Will,' to be directed by Henry Ian Cusick

The 100 cast member Henry Ian Cusick is proving himself to be a man of many talents as he will be directing episode 10 of the show.

Cusick is normally in front of the camera as Marcus Kane but for the next episode he's in the director's chair. It's a position he's already experienced as he guest directed the episode called 'The Other Side' in season 4 back in 2017.

At that time, he revealed to IGN that even though he'd been acting in the show since the beginning, he had been really eager to direct and even asked the showrunners for the opportunity.  To his delight, they granted his request.

He said at that time: 'I directed theater and I've also directed a short film and it was something I was really passionate about. I approached Jason [Rothenberg] in Season 2 and he said "let me think about it" and then in Season 3 he said "you can direct in Season 4" and he let me direct in Season 4. But I've been pestering him about it. It's just something where I've been on set since I've been in my 20s and even though I haven't directed, I've been sitting on set watching and asking questions. I'm a certain age now and I felt like, it was something I wanted to do.'

Cusick must have done something right as he's been given the opportunity again to direct an episode of the show called 'The Warriors Will,' which was written by Julie Benson and Shawna Benson.

According to CarterMatt, the synopsis for the show reveals that things are not looking good for Abby, who fans have been fearing will be the next character to die. That would be a huge loss as she's another veteran of the show.

The synopsis reads: 'Monty (Chris Larkin) strives to show Wonkru an alternative to war, and to the valley itself. Meanwhile, Abby's (Paige Turco) health continues to deteriorate, along with McCreary's (guest star William Miller) patience.'

Although Cusick is directing the episode, he is also starring in it too. The episode will air July 17 on The CW.
