Switchfoot Featured on Nickelodeon

|PIC1|Switchfoot recently participated in an All-Star Concert to benefit “A Place Called Home,” a youth charity, and to salute the legendary Les Paul at his 90th birthday bash at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. Playing along side greats like Merle Haggard, Alison Krauss, Steve Lukather, Joe Perry, Joe Satriani, Neal Schon, Shayna Steele and Edgar Winter, the charity event has been called one of the world's greatest gatherings of guitarists.

In other news,“Stars” from Switchfoot’s critically acclaimed album, Nothing Is Sound, will be featured on Nick Records/SONY BMG Strategic Marketing Group’s Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice, a compilation CD releasing March 14 and featuring recent favourites from today's most popular teen and tween stars.

The compilation is set to come out in conjunction with the Nickelodeon's 19th Annual Kids' Choice Awards, which will air live April 1 at 8:00 pm ET. Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards will be seen in more than 200 million households on Nickelodeon's international channels across the UK, Europe, Russia, Israel, Asia, Australia, Latin America and Brazil, as well as the US.

Switchfoot will soon embark on their 30-show US headline tour, scheduled to date and begin March 15 in Bakersfield, CA. Special guest and U.K. group Athlete will open all concerts through April 15.
