The countdown for the premiere date of "Survivor" season 30, dubbed as "Survivor: Worlds Apart," has already begun as the upcoming release date inches closer.

According to Survivor Fandom, last year's three-team format will return this season. The 18 castaways will be divided into three groups: the White Collar tribe, which are comprised of a group of professionals; the Blue Collar tribe, which are composed of skilled workers; and the No Collar tribe, made up of free-spirited individuals.

Having three main factions means that each tribe will have six players each, all with the same background. They will try to outwit each other in order to retain a spot on an island in Nicaragua.

The list of castaways who will join the Masaya (White Collar) group includes:

  • Max Dawson, a 37-year-old media consultant who hails from Topanga, California
  • So Kim, the 31-year-old retail buyer from Long Beach, California
  • Tyler Fredrickson, a 33-year-old former talent agent assistant who comes from Los Angeles, California
  • Shirin Oskooi, the 31-year-old Yahoo! employee from San Francisco, California
  • Joaquin Souberbielle, a 27-year-old marketing director living in Valley Stream, New York
  • Carolyn Rivera, a 52-year-old corporate executive from Tampa, Florida

The members of the Escamera (Blue Collar) tribe include:

  • Sierra Dawn Thomas, a 27-year-old barrel racer who lives in Roy, Utah
  • Dan Foley, a 47-year-old postal worker who hails from Gorham, Maine
  • Lindsey Cascaddan, a 24-year-old hairdresser who lives at College Park, Florida
  • Rodney Lavoie, Jr., a 24-year-old general contractor who comes from Boston, Massachusetts
  • Mike Holloway, a 38-year-old oil driller who hails from North Richland Hills, Texas
  • Kelly Remington, a 44-year-old state trooper living at Grand Island, New York

Meanwhile, the Nagarote (No Collar) tribe members include:

  • Joe Anglim, a 25-year-old jewelry designer from Scottsdale, Arizona
  • Vince Sly, a 32-year-old coconut vendor living in Santa Monica, California
  • Hali Ford, a 25-year-old law student who is currently from San Francisco, California
  • Jennifer Brown, a 22-year-old sailing instructor who hails from Long Beach, California
  • Will Sims II, a 41-year-old YouTube sensation living in Sherman Oaks, California
