When "Suits" started, Louis Litt wasn't a well-loved character on the show. But as the show goes on, more and more fans are starting to love Litt, especially his line "You got Litt up." Now, Litt has become an invaluable part of "Suits."
In the last episode "Litt the Hell Up," it couldn't be ignored that Rick Hoffman, the guy who plays Louis Litt, gave one of the best performances on the show. The episode showed Litt winning a case and Harvey uttering a Litt catchphrase, to which Litt knew that Harvey gave him credit (something he has always yearn for).
However, Litt knew the whole time that he ignored Forstman breaking a law. And he feared that Harvey will be disappointed with him again, so he continued on with the façade. Now, Litt is faced with a moral dilemma. While he is known to be a schemer, he is also someone who has a high moral ground. It will be interesting to see how Litt's character will deal with this.
Hoffman had a talk with Entertainment Weekly about his character's dilemma. He said, "Louis is going to try his best to do what he always does, which is to be loyal to Harvey and to the firm, and to always do the right thing. Like most things in life, nothing ever goes 100 percent your way all the time. This could definitely not be a good thing for the firm, for Harvey, for Jessica, for Louis."
"Louis is right now staring at something that I don't think he's ever had in front of him before, and it's going to be interesting from this point forward to see: Does it change him?" Hoffman adds.
In "Suits," every action has a consequence, a bigger one. So it's highly likely that Litt will deal with the consequences of his actions eventually. Nonetheless, fans are hoping that this won't be the end of Louis Litt.
