The official "Splatoon 2" Twitter account just recently uploaded a new set of photos for the game. The tweet teased a new clothing line that will be available for everybody in-game.

Players who find themselves looking for a less colorful apparel can now look forward to options, as a brand-new clothing brand opens in-game. The clothing line is called "Tataki Kensaki," named after the designer himself. "TK" boasts monochromatic, black and white apparel for players who prefer less color.

To show off its different styles, the fashion brand posted a gif on Splatoon's Twitter account. Inklings who are more on the urban side, can now express themselves in fashion with these different styles.

In other news, "Splatoon 2" is updating its stage selection.

In an interview, game producer Hisashi Nogami revealed that they reduced the amount of time for stages to rotate in "Splatoon 2." Aside from this, the game now randomly cycles between two specified stages per round. This is a contrast to its former stage selection where players vote for the map to compete on.

This also means that assigned maps are refreshed at constant speed per game. In "Splatoon 2," map choices will now update every two hours.

Nogami explains the reason for these changes: "We feel that part of the gameplay is actually selecting which weapons would be best for that combination of two maps. In Splatoon 2, the maps rotate every two hours, so it'll be a much faster cycle than the previous game."

The third-person shooter game will also come out with an updated version of its old maps together with the new ones.

"Splatoon 2" is set to be released for the Nintendo Switch on July 21.
