Someone from Sony Mobile accidentally unveiled the upcoming Xperia Z4 Tablet way ahead of its original schedule.

Xperia Blog, an Xperia-dedicated blog site, got hold of the unexpected unveiling of the soon-to-be released next-generation Xperia Z tablet after the device made a surprising appearance in the official Xperia Lounge app. The post included the caption:

"Sony is now introducing the new Xperia Z4 Tablet: Sony's stunning 2K display combined with the latest ultra fast processor and industry leading battery performance delivers unrivalled entertainment in a lightweight premium."

The post also featured a date that reads "03 March 2015," which could mean that the device will be officially launched during the company's scheduled stint at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona, Spain.

However, the post was removed after the Japanese mobile manufacturer realized its mistake.

Although the post was pulled out, the blog site still managed to show proof that Sony is planning to release its new tablet with a 2K screen display. The screengrabbed image also teased about the upcoming improvements on the device's internal features, particularly its newest "ultra fast" processor. The new Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is also confirmed to be running with a groundbreaking battery performance to compete with the other similar devices in the market today.

Other key details about the device are still kept in the dark, but earlier rumors mentioned that it will be equipped with a 2.86 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, an impressive 6 GB of RAM featuring two 3 GB RAM, and a built in 64 GB storage. It will also reportedly have an 8-megapixel camera, but there are no indications if the upcoming device will feature only one camera.

But since the 2015 MWC is slated to begin next week, gadget enthusiasts who are interested in finding out the real specs of the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet must keep their eyes peeled from March 2 to 5 for the company's announcements.
