Prior to its release in late June this year, Sony announced that the upcoming Xperia XZ Premium phone will be coming in Bronze Pink color.

The Japanese mobile phone manufacturer revealed the announcement on Twitter, saying its next flagship smartphone will come in a warmer, blush tone aside from the previously announced Deepsea Black and Luminous Chrome colors.

In a blog post, Xperia Color Designer Satoshi Aoyagi revealed the reason why they chose the Bronze Pink hue for the third color of the upcoming Sony flagship smartphone.

"We wanted to find a colour that represented a feeling of warmth whilst at the same time exemplifying the premium features and design. The bronze metallic finish adds a feeling of depth to the glass on the front and back," Aoyagi stated. "Also just like the other colours every part of the Xperia XZ Premium Bronze Pink has been expertly crafted — such as the top and bottom edges, which are carefully diamond cut and creates an added shine. It's a chic addition to the choice of colours offered with XZ Premium."

Aside from the actual Sony Xperia XZ unit, the smartphone manufacturer will also release a matching STH32 stereo headset with the same Bronze Pink color. The headset will be released soon.

Other notable features for the upcoming Sony Xperia XZ Premium device include the 5.5-inch 4K HDR Triluminos Display with X-Reality features. It will also come with an octa-core Snapdragon 835 chipset with Adreno 540 GPU, 4 GB of RAM with built-in 64 GB storage that can be expanded using the microSD card, 19-megapixel rear camera with 13-megapixel secondary shooter, a fingerprint sensor, and a 3,230mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.

The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is expected to be available in selected markets by the end of June. But the device is already up for pre-order for $830 in the US and £649 in the UK.
