Singer Britt Nicole weds

Contemporary singer Britt Nicole has just got married.

The wedding bells rang out for Britt Nicole and drummer Joshua Crosby on July 1.

Britt announced the big news via her social network with these words: "So excited to announce that I married my love yesterday @charlesweet !!! :) July 1 :) thank u Jesus for this new season! I ❤ U boo!"

Joshua Crosby also shared through his social network, "what an amazing new season. Yesterday, July 1, I married my best friend & soul mate, Gods blessing, @itsbrittnicole! #FOREVER."

The singer, who celebrates her 27th birthday in just a few weeks, has become one of the most popular Christian female vocalists since landing on the CCM scene in 2007 with her album "Say It".

Her latest studio album, "Gold", was released in March to critical acclaim.
