Search for new UK gospel talent returns

Up and coming UK gospel artists get another opportunity to share their talent with the wider public as Just out of this World which was launched last year returns for a second series.

The gospel talent quest is yet again on the lookout for Britain’s up and coming gospel artists. Auditions kick off in May at Gateway House, Woolwich, south east London and this year auditions are also being held at the Church of God of Prophecy, Farm Street Birmingham in June.

A panel of judges comprised of the show’s creator Mary Eniolu, Award winning Music Producer Marcus Johnson, former X Factor finalist Grace Campbell and radio presenter and music critique Mike Rimmer will decide which contestants get through the audition stages and make it to the heats.

The heats are scheduled to take place between August and September in London when gospel artist Beverley Trotman will join the panel of judges.

The Just out of this World Gospel Talent quest will be aired on TV and votes from the public will then decide which artist makes it through the heats and is ultimately declared the winner.

Mary Eniolu, the visionary of this initiative states, “Last year we launched this talent quest because we believe there is so much great, untapped talent in the Christian community and we think it is important that we provide opportunities for them to develop their talent and sing to wider audiences, particularly if they have a desire to pursue singing gospel as both a profession and ministry.
Just out of this World wanted to play its part in giving such artist a break”

Mrs Eniolu continues, “This year we are back and we are bigger. The winner of last year’s competition has realised her dream of becoming a recording artist and this year we want to give even more people that opportunity. We are taking Just out of this World on the road and will be holding auditions in both London and Birmingham.”

The winner of the Just out of this World Gospel Talent quest will get a single recording with Integrity Music Europe, shoot a video of their single, enjoy a professional photo shoot and get their own website.

Entrants from all over the UK are being encouraged to enter Just out of this World, and must register at www.justoutofthisworld.co.uk to participate in the auditions.
