Lea Michele definitely shed her Rachel Berry look after filming the "Glee" finale to prepare for her new role in another Ryan Murphy series. In the soon-to-be released "Scream Queens," the actress will be sporting a toned down look instead of the diva-esque get-up that she was best known for.

"My character is so different than anything you've ever seen me do before," Michele shared to Entertainment Online during the panel interview at the recently concluded PaleyFest. "You won't see me or Rachel Berry anywhere in there."

The singer-actress also told USA Today that most of the production crew that she had worked with during her "Glee" days did not even recognize her when she first went on the set.

"I'll tell you this. A lot of people working on 'Scream Queens' are our crew from 'Glee.' ... When I went on my first day, no one even recognized me. This is like my Charlize Theron in 'Monster' moment," Michele stated.

The actress also mentioned that her new character is somewhat crazy, out-of-control, but hilarious at the same time. She even stated that most of her co-stars texted her after the first day of filming to commend her on the way that she embraced her new character. She does not even wear any makeup or have her hair done to help her internalize her new role.

Murphy recently showed some proof in his Twitter account of what Michele was talking about. In the said post, the 28-year-old actress can be seen hanging out with "Scream Queens" co-star Jamie Lee Curtis on the set of the new series.

Michele and Curtis will be joined by a stellar roster of cast, including Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Skyler Samuel, and Oliver Hudson. Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas are also reported to appear in some of the episodes in the series as guest stars.

Early reports claim that Murphy's brand new horror-comedy anthology will revolve around the mysterious murders that are happening inside a college campus. "Scream Queens" is expected to premiere this fall on Fox.
