Scottish Churches to Win Back Old Faces

Churches in East Kilbride, Scotland, are pulling out all the stops this Sunday to show church leavers that there really is something worth coming back to church for as they hold special Back to Church Sunday services.

Churches across the country held special services and events on 24 September to bring back old faces to church.

Invitations have gone out to members of the local parish from all nine Church of Scotland congregations in East Kilbride in the hope that its members will rekindle their passion and involvement in the church.

Back to Church Sunday is a once-a-year initiative that wants to see churches across the country go to extra-ordinary lengths to reignite the awareness within previously active members of the extent to which a healthy church life contributes to their spiritual wellbeing and general happiness with life.
