Fans of the Galaxy S series of Samsung who are waiting for news about an iteration follow-up are checking out rumors that apparently, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be out early next year, with a March release window at the earliest.

According to GSM Arena, the leak was accidentally revealed during a recent event sponsored by China's leading mobile carrier, China Mobile. The telecom giant was reporting to the public its schedule roadmap for the coming year.

In the leaked images, the event was accompanied with a presentation by the carrier, and seen on it is the supposed Samsung Galaxy S7's March arrival date.

Although Samsung still has to confirm details, observers are saying that the release window presented by China Mobile seems to be closer to the expected release date for the Galaxy S6 follow-up.

According to Stuff.tv, it is rumored that Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy S7 lineup in February at the Mobile World Congress and a release would be a month after. The industry follower also noted that the timeline seems to dovetail with previous launches of the flagship -- the Galaxy S6 was released at roughly around the same time earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Phone Arena mentioned that aside from the Galaxy S7, the China Mobile presentation also listed other Samsung flagships appearing in 2016 with their price tags. Reportedly, the Galaxy S7 will be priced above 3000 Yuan, while two iterations in the Galaxy A-series, the 2016 editions of the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7, will have prices within 1500-3000 Chinese Yuan range.

The same report also added a tidbit for Apple fans. Not only did China Mobile present a release window for Samsung Galaxy S7 but for another anticipated flagship as well. Reportedly, following the release of the Galaxy S7 in March, Apple will follow up with an iPhone 7c announcement in April. However, the report also stated that there is some confusion at this point since the roadmap schedule is listing the rumored 4-inch iPhone follow-up, which earlier speculations tagged as an iPhone 6c.
