While Samsung has yet to provide details on its next flagship offerings, speculations continue to float online, particularly about the much-anticipated Galaxy S7 lineup. The latest rumors suggesting Samsung will be offering the full lineup in a single release seem to be true, as what appears to be the Galaxy S7 Edge has been spotted online.

According to SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge was recently seen on benchmark website AnTuTu. The benchmark results were posted by the website itself on its Weibo account.

Based on the supposed benchmark results, the industry follower noted that the rumors of Samsung downgrading its camera assembly for the Galaxy S7 seem to be true. The results showed the Galaxy S7 Edge sporting a 12-MP main shooter, as opposed to the signature 16-MP camera assemblies from previous iterations. The front camera has reportedly kept the 5-MP resolution.

In addition, the Galaxy S7 Edge was also listed with a 5.1-inch display, which is smaller than the rumored 5.5-inches. If the benchmark tests are proven to be true, then it would be more likely that the rumored 5.5-inch version would be dubbed the Galaxy S7 Plus.

Meanwhile, GSM Arena reported that some of the rumored specs of the upcoming lineup are right on the money, as the results showed the iteration to be carrying the new Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The tested unit also comes with 64 GB of internal storage.

Other rumored specs of the upcoming Galaxy S7 lineup include the return of water-resistance and expandable storage via microSD support. Rumors also say the Galaxy S7 lineup will launch early this year.
