Following the launch of the Galaxy Note 8 back in August, Samsung is reportedly gearing up for the release of the new mid-tier handsets. While the South Korean tech giant has not yet revealed the specs details of the 2018 Samsung Galaxy A7, a leaked photo has recently surfaced online, allegedly containing the first look at the smartphone.

As reported by Android Headlines, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) has been in the rumor mill for many weeks now in spite of the lack of confirmation from the company. Nevertheless, reliable tipsters have been providing the public with leaked photos and details regarding the mid-range handset. The latest leak, revealing the upper front display of the Galaxy A7 (2018), shows that the device will sport a dual-lens front camera.

A front-facing camera setup made up of two image sensors would mean that the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) will be a great pick for high-quality selfie captures. This is likely to be the highlight of the smartphone, aside from the rumored Infinity Display of the new Galaxy A7.

The leaked Galaxy A7 (2018) photo, released by OnLeaks, also confirms the speculation that the edge-to-edge all-screen front display of the flagship handsets will make its way to the mid-range department. Specifically, the leak shows that the handset will sport a 5.7-inch Full HD+ Infinity AMOLED display, with up to 2160x1080 pixels resolution. Based on the photo, the Galaxy A7 (2018) has slimmer bezels.

It is also speculated that Samsung's upcoming mid-tier smartphone, the Galaxy A5 (2018), will have the same Infinity Display with reduced bezels. The new Galaxy A7 and A5 versions are expected to be released in January 2018.

Previous reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) will be powered by Exynos 7885 64-bit octa-core processor with either 4GB or 6GB RAM. The smartphone is said to pack 3,600mAh non-removable battery. It is uncertain if the rear-positioned camera will receive dual lens, although a single-lens 16MP snapper appears to be more likely at this point.

Meanwhile, both Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) and A7 (2018) are recently certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance, meaning that the release of the mid-tier handsets will probably happen early next year.
