"Rick and Morty" season 3 is still in production, but series co-creator Dan Harmon took to a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) to address some fan theories and to answer some lingering questions. However, he still did not announce when the series would premiere except that it would launch before the end of the year.

Harmon explained that he still had no idea when season 3 was going to premiere, and even if he did, he would not have the freedom to announce it just yet. Given that he has no authority yet, it is possible that the studios are still negotiating with Adult Swim to get a proper premiere date even if some episodes are ready.

Fan theories were then addressed next. Some of these theories suggest that the majority of season 2 and episodes in the upcoming third season are just Rick's dreams or that Rick is just Goldenfold in disguise. Harmon pointed out that it is unlikely any of these are going to be true.

"When I hear about that stuff, always thinks, 'wait, are you saying that if we were big enough dicks to screw around with you that much, you'd like the show?' But I don't think those folks are thinking about it from that angle, I think they're just blissfully analytical and love decoding stuff and I salute them but I haven't seen a theory that I truly love," he explained.

This would indicate that the season 2 finale, which saw Rick getting captured as Morty and his family headed back home only to find it being invaded by aliens, to be real and not just a dream or a hallucination. Season 3 would then have to focus first on saving Earth and getting Rick out of intergalactic prison.

With no official release date announced yet, it is speculated that "Rick and Morty" season 3 will premiere in December.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
