'Resident Evil' 7 release date, spoilers: Will Alice return in new game?

It's E3's last night, but it won't end without the unveiling of Capcom's "Resident Evil" 7, according to a source. The source is from NeoGAF forum and he spills the beans, reports Air Herald.

Apparently, the "Resident Evil" 7 details that News Bot shared was credible information. Many took the information seriously.

According to him, "Resident Evil" 7 will be revealed at E3. And he said that the 7th sequel will probably be a spin-off.

As for the new characters, News Bot shared that there will be two female characters and one male. One of the characters hasn't been seen in the game yet. The other two are old characters who will be making a comeback after a decade of not being seen in the game. Who do you think they are?

Based from the descriptions, "Resident Evil" fans may assume that it is Alice, who will be returning to the game. But News Bot quickly slammed this guess, saying that the character is not a movie character. This rules out Alice automatically. The source adds that the character was just mentioned in "Resident Evil" but hasn't really appeared yet.

Aside from the characters, what is new in "Resident Evil" 7? The last three installments of the game didn't do as well as its predecessors. Players of the game would often say that the last three games lacked the horrific effects they wanted and expected. After all, this is what attracted players to get into the game since the first installment.

Now, Capcom is "really" serious about providing the new horrific effects and experience in "Resident Evil" 7. The developers are hoping to give what their fans are looking for. Hopefully, they can now.

Nonetheless, there is no official confirmation for all these spoilers and information. It may be real or not. But one thing is more certain, that "Resident Evil" 7 will be introduced at E3.
