Fans of the western themed action-adventure video game "Red Dead Redemption" are waiting for the release of its sequel, "Red Dead Redemption 2" (RDR2) Game developer Rockstar Games kept details of the game under wraps, only revealing that it will be out next year.

Moreover, some interesting information about "RDR2" recently emerged online, suggesting that gamers will see familiar faces back in the game. Dedicated fans at the GTA Forums revealed a connection between the actors and the developers of the game. Everyone from audio engineering and motion capture fields are closely working together on the project.

According to ComicBook, Gabriel Sloyer, who worked on "Grand Theft Auto V," connected with different actors from the original "Red Dead Redemption." Such include Steve J. Palmer (Bill Williamson), Benjamin Byron Davis (Dutch Van Der Linde) and Rob Wiethoff (John Marston).

Peter Blomquist is also a part of the group who worked with Sloyer on "L.A. Noire." Aside from that, Lindsay Perry, another actor from "Grand Theft Auto V," has a connection with Davis. Noshir Dalal also has the same online connections. It is said that the actor has been working on a motion capture for a yet-to-be-released game, allegedly as a leading character. These connections imply that the former characters will indeed return in the upcoming  "RDR2."

On a side note, publisher and developer Rockstar Games did confirm any of these notions to be true. Due to that, gamers will have to wait for the next leaks or updates that could reveal more details about the game.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" is a prequel to the 2010 title "Red Dead Redemption." It will be the third entry in the Red Dead series. The game follows the story of outlaw Arthur Morgan, a member of the Dutch van der Linde gang.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" is set for release in spring 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
