Brandi Glanville of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" has once again come to the defense of co-star Kim Richards. Glanville recently quashed rumors about Richards allegedly having vanished after quitting rehab in the middle of the night.

In her New Weekly column, Glanville denies that Richards was fired from their hit Bravo show after allegedly walking out of a Malibu facility where she was said to have been receiving treatment for alcohol abuse issues. The 42-year-old reality TV star revealed that Richards only left the clinic because she had come to the end of her stay.

Glanville wrote, "I spoke to Kim — she just got out of rehab. She sounds like she's in great spirits. She's just trying to find a place to live and move forward with her acting."

It was earlier reported that Richards checked into rehab after her April arrest for public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer, and battery on a police officer after an incident at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The former child star briefly left the facility to attend her daughter Brooke's wedding in Cabo San Lucas. After the wedding, it was reported that Richards checked herself into a different facility.

E! News reports that Richards is not coming back to "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" for its upcoming sixth season. According to sources connected to the Bravo show, it's possible that the 50-year old may return for a cameo, or a few appearances, but not as a full-time series regular.

Meanwhile, Glanville has confirmed last month that she is not returning to the show as a full time cast member, but a source close to the reality star told NY Daily News that the former model is expecting to return to the show part time. The website reports that Glanville has told friends that she is in talks with three different networks — including Bravo — about starring in her own show which will document her life.
