Even if she will no longer be a part of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," NeNe Leakes is still one of the go-to sources for credible updates regarding the show's eighth season. Recently, she set the record straight regarding the casting rumors for "RHOA" season 8 following several reports that came out online.

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, the original "RHOA" housewife who decided to quit the show after season 7 addressed the rumors regarding the alleged casting of transgender model Amiyah Scott to replace her.

"Amiyah Scott will not be a Housewife, I can bet you that. It's just a way to get everybody to tune in, guarantee you that," Leakes said during the interview.

She also mentioned that casting news about "Facts of Life" star Kim Fields and original "RHOA" cast member Sheree Whitfield are not true.

"None of those people you've been hearing about will be Housewives," she said, adding that it would be impossible to replace her in the show that started with fellow original "RHOA" housewives Kim Zolciak, Lisa Wu-Hartwell, DeShawn Snow, and Whitfield back in 2008.

"I am irreplaceable. They will have to bring in a truckload of women and men to replace me. I'm irreplaceable honey," the 47-year-old celebrity said. "They will never find anybody that can do what Nene does."

When asked why she decided to leave the show in the first place, Leakes said that she has had enough of the negativity that she felt when doing the show. She also said that she feels that the time is now right for her to try venturing into other things for her career.

However, the former "RHOA" housewife is still not closing her doors on the show.

"I just need a break. I may come back some day," she said.
