Fox has yet to announce when "Prison Break" season 5 will officially premiere, but there are speculations running rampant that the show will launch in March 2017. Despite no official air date, the series has risen to become the most anticipated new television series of the year.

Based on research conducted by Listen First Media (via Variety), "Prison Break" season 5 is the most anticipated upcoming show to date, and it qualifies because it is a revival show and not a returning program from last year. The show completely dominates the competition as it is nearly 20 times more anticipated than any other new series.

According to the findings, "Prison Break" season 5 has sparked over 19.5 Million engagements on social media from May to August. The show on the second top spot, "This Is Us," has only garnered 1.56 Million engagements while the third slot goes to the "MacGyver" reboot series, with 558,000 engagements on social media.

"The numbers show that 'Prison Break's' return to air is met with fervor from fans who have been missing the show for years, while 'This Is Us' stands out as the original program that triples everyone else," explained Listen First Media co-founder and CEO, Jason Klein.

Dominic Purcell, who plays Lincoln Burrows, shared the anticipation on Instagram, and as previously, reported the actor's other posts have hinted that the series will use familiar tactics from season 1 to break Burrows' brother, Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), out of prison.

However, Variety points out that being on the list of most anticipated shows does not mean the show will succeed in the ratings. It is pointed out that six of the top 10 from last year's list were canceled due to low ratings, such as "The Muppets," "Limitless," and "Heroes Reborn."

No official release date has been stated, but the report points out that it is expected to premiere in Spring 2017, and some speculate that the show will launch in March.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
