"Prepare the way for the King of Glory"

A voice of one calling: "In the desert prepare the way for the Lord; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God. Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken." (Isaiah 40:3-5, NIV)

2300 apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, prayer Intercessors, worshippers, deacons, church Elders from all over the world united together and held prayer convocation in Singpoare on the midst of February (16-17).

They prayed with one heart and believe that the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. The partipicants are the representatives from 61 tribes of 57 countries, including countries of Arabia. This is the 13th meeting with the theme , the main focus is to pray for the three gates of the Eastern countries of Jerusalem including Lion Gate, Gold Gate and Bethany Gate, altogether 59 countries.

Rev. Tom Hess, one of the speaker of the convocation, pointed out that we especially have to pray for the Eastern countries under the East Gate, there have been many spiritual movements after 1997. Rev. Hess is the founder and Pastor of Jerusalem House of Prayer for All Nations, President of Progressive Vision International and All Nations Convocations. Jerusalem House of Prayer for All Nations maintain a 24 hour Prayer Watch where increasing numbers of Pastors and prayer leaders are bringing groups of Watchmen from their Nations to pray together in Jerusalem. Presently they can in touch with thousands of 24 hour Watches in the nations of the world.

The early prayer convocations were held in Jerusalem, it was the first time they held it in Hong Kong in 1997. After that it was in India and this time Singapore. This year especially many countries had election, Rev. Hess hoped that through prayers, more Christian leaders will lead the nations and bring spiritual change.

"We have to pray for all nations, including the Ocean countries at the end of the world. It is very important to transform and receive the Lord. 1000 years ago, there were massacre of the Jews and the Arabians in the name of Crusade. But they are also Abraham's descendants. He urged churches to love these two tribes and help them with fund." Rev. Anadorai said.

Representatives of the Jews and the Arabians came to the stage to receive the offering from many nations. With the love of Christ, all nations will become one and the Kingdom of God will come.
