Premier celebrates Men@Work's 100th show

Premier Christian Radio’s Men@Work show celebrates its 100th episode this weekend.

Past guests have included Lulu, who spoke of her gratitude to God for her illustrious career, which has spanned nearly half a century.

Footballer John Bostock was signed to Crystal Palace's First Team at the age of 15 and spoke about how his faith kept him grounded.

The show is hosted by Nick Battle, an author, musician and songwriter, who has produced records for the likes of Russell Watson, Michael Ball and Englebert Humperdinck.

Looking back, the show that moved him most was an interview with World Vision's Matthew Neville, who shared the story of a young boy from a camp in the Democratic Republic of Congo who had simply said: "I want you to keep on remembering us."

Other guests have included Max Clifford, Herbie Armstrong and David Robertson. Most recently, opera singer and funny man Jonathan Veira spoke about overcoming illness, as well as sharing tracks from his latest album.

Nick says, "It is a real privilege to have been allowed the opportunity to share my love of life, laughter and walk of faith with the listeners of Premier.

"This would not have been possible without the unstinting support of Peter Kerridge, Charmaine Noble-McLean, David Rose and of course my producer 'Mighty' Chris Byland. Great radio is about teamwork. So I thank them all.

"Finally thank you to everyone who listens on Saturday or on catch up. It is you that makes our jobs worthwhile. As always to God be the glory."
