The Pokémon Company released a brand new trailer for "Pokémon Sun and Moon." This trailer reveals the final evolutions of the three starter Pokémon as well as a look at some of the new Alolan Pokémon. It also unveils some of the new battle mechanics and features that will be in the game, including a treat for long-time fans.

The Grass-type starter Rowlett will have a third and final evolution form known as Decidueye. Unlike its first form, the final form will be a Grass-Ghost type which has a signature move known as Spirit Shackle. This move will prevent the enemy's Pokémon from switching out.

Litten, the Fire-type starter, will have a final evolution known as Incineroar. This will be a Fire-Dark type Pokémon which will have the signature move Darkest Lariat, which allows Incineroar to ignore the opponent's stat changes and buffs.

As for the Water-type starter, Popplio, it will have a final evolution known as Primarina, a Water-Fairy type Pokémon. Primarina's signature move is known as the Sparkling Aria, and it can heal any burns its target suffers from.

The rest of the trailer showcases two new Alolan Guardians named Tapu Lele and Tapu Bulu. Each one has a unique ability that resembles a giant Pokémon of some kind, like a golem guardian. The trailer then showcases the Alolan form of Persian and reveals the new Pokémon known as Cosmog.

It is also shown that the Island Challenge Trials are not just random challenges, but they also play a part in the game's main story. The trailer reveals that the player will be responsible for paving the way for the islands to have their own Pokémon League.

By the end of the trailer, it is revealed that some of the most iconic trainers in "Pokémon" history will be encountered and fought. The most notable of which are the inclusions of Trainer Red and Trainer Blue, from the original "Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow" games. They do appear older but still have the same Pokémon they've had from the first generation of games.

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" will roll out for the 3DS on Nov. 18.
