'Pokémo Z' release rumors: New versions of existing Pokémon could be part of game

Legendary Pokémo Zygarde Nintendo

The latest rumors surrounding "Pokémon Z" suggest that some of the popular creatures in the game could be getting some makeovers.

According to the Japanese magazine, CoroCoro, and subsequently reported on by IGN, there looks to be at least one Pokémon that will be featuring a new appearance.

The Pokémon in question here is none other than Greninja; more specifically, this is the one that Ash controls. The new version of this Greninja reportedly has it donning clothes similar to Ash himself. The change supposedly comes from Greninja forming an unbreakable bond with Ash, and it is expected to make its debut in the "Pokémon X, Y and Z" anime.

Whether or not this version of Greninja will also be appearing in the "Pokémon Z" game is unclear, although it would not be out of the question.

More details have also emerged recently regarding Zygarde, the legendary Pokémon who is believed to be the focal point of "Pokémon Z."

According to the latest leak, Zygarde will have five different forms. Zygarde will start out as something resembling a blob and will then turn into a cell. After that, Zygarde will transform into a form similar to that of a typical dog before it evolves even further into a serpentine creature. Its last form will reportedly be a hulking figure caused by its mega evolution.

In related news, a new item known as the "Pokedex Z" has reportedly popped up on Amazon's Japanese website, according to Venture Capital Post.

The new Pokedex could reportedly contain valuable information on up to 720 different Pokémons. The "Pokedex Z" could be available as soon as Nov. 11, at least if the listing is to be believed.

Nintendo has still kept mum regarding "Pokémon Z," but more information should start coming out as the end of the year draws closer.
