The October lineup of PlayStation Plus games has just been revealed, and members will now have access to six new games.
Headlining the October list is "Super Meat Boy." This platform game title will be providing players with obstacles designed to make even the most seasoned veterans of this genre pull their hair out in frustration. Stages are routinely populated with an abundance of traps to trip up the players while they try to make their way through as they control a humble, smiling meatball, according to the official PlayStation blog.
Also part of the October lineup is the point and click adventure title, "Broken Age." In "Broken Age," players will be tasked with helping guide a pair of teenagers through their own worlds as they discover the mystery that is at the heart of the game.
Both "Broken Age" and "Super Meat Boy" will be available for download on PlayStation 4 (PS4) and the PlayStation Vita (PS Vita).
Other games that are part of the October lineup include "Chariot" which will be available on the PS3.
Players can also decide to try out either "KickBeat" and even "Kung Fu Rabbit." Both of these games will be playable on PS3 as well as the PS Vita.
Completing the list of games coming out as part of the October PlayStation Plus lineup is Grip Games' "Unmechanical: Extended." This particular title will be available on the PS3 and PS4, according to Polygon.
All six games from the October PlayStation Plus lineup will be available starting Oct. 6.
There is also news regarding the PlayStation Plus version of "DriveClub."
On the very same day that the October lineup is released, the PlayStation Plus version of "DriveClub" will also be disappearing from the service. Players who want to try it out should download it now and save it in their library.
