With the month of November almost over, it is time for the PlayStation Plus subscribers to look forward to the new lineup of free games this December. Sony has yet to announce the final roster of video games arriving in the PS Plus catalog in the coming days, but rumors are rife that players are in for a big treat before this year ends. Some of the speculated games hitting the list next month are "Watch Dogs," "Shadow of Mordor," and "Star Wars: Battlefront."

Express UK cited the recent free games prediction at Reddit, which include a lot of AAA titles. For the PlayStation 4 lineup, it is rumored that Sony will finally introduce "Watch Dogs" to the PS Plus catalog. There are also Redditors predicting that EA's "Star Wars: Battlefront" will be included in the free games list as a way to promote its sequel, "Battlefront 2," which has been released recently.

Other predictions for the December 2017 free games list mentioned "Shadow of Mordor," "Mortal Kombat X," "Far Cry 4," and "Fallout 4," which had a VR gameplay version launched earlier this year. To note, "Shadow of Mordor" has been included in other free games predictions in PS Plus. So, there is a growing chance that the game will ultimately make it to the cut, not to mention the good record of Reddit users in predicting game titles in the monthly list.

While there is no guarantee that the games will be included in PlayStation Plus December 2017 list, other Redditors expressed their support for "Wasteland 2," "Mad Max," and the PS4 exclusive title "Kulzone Shadow Fall."

On the other hand, Gear Nuke noticed a trend in adding free games for the PlayStation Plus lineup. Specifically, the free games that were not included in the following month's list were those that were offered with discounts on PlayStation Store. With this, the publication predicts that "The Order 1886" could enter the December 2017 lineup, which was not offered in the last Black Friday sale.

It is expected that the official list of free games in PlayStation Plus will be revealed on Wednesday, Nov. 29, and the games will be available for download starting on Dec. 5.
