Photo Update on the WCC Executive Meeting in Seoul

The world’s largest ecumenical body, the World Council of Churches (WCC), has been holding an executive committee meeting in South Korea since August 24th, and it will conclude today (27th August).

Over the gathering, much of the council's time has been focused on developing and organising the WCC's 9th assembly, which will be held in Brazil in 2006.

The executive members also discussed top international issues including the conflict in Sudan, Nigeria, North Korea and the “Shift of Global Christianity from the North to the South.”
