Game developer Pinokl has recently released an alpha build of "Party Hard 2" for free download.

For those who do not know, imagine this: a younger, pre "Metal Gear" Big Boss just called it a night, then went straight to bed to try and get his much-needed rest. However, this loud, party-loving neighbors and their friends kept jolting him awake in the middle of the night with their loud music and drunken revelry.

So, what does Big Boss do, being the responsible citizen that he is? He takes a knife then proceeds to kill everyone in sight either by slashing them or blowing them up.

That's the type of extreme mayhem that "Party Hard" offers — minus Big Boss.

Pinokl's stealth-based 2D strategy game was released in 2015. While the game offers little in graphics compared to this generation's more visually appealing titles, it offers twice the fun with its challenging yet enjoyable gameplay, complete with an 80's style retro beat that players would bob their heads to while thinking of clever ways to wipe everybody out.

The Christmas Alpha version of "Party Hard 2" allows the players to control a disgruntled employee who did not receive his Christmas bonus and decided to take out his frustrations on his co-workers during the office party.

In the game, the player must stealthily make his way around the partying crowd, using his knife or several objects in the environment to eliminate his targets.

The player also has to be careful not to be spotted or leave around too many clues, such as leaving dead bodies out in the open as it would cause the crowd to panic and call the police.

The game's publisher, Tinybuild, recently posted in the steam community forums that the development team had to "go back to the drawing board and redesign key parts of the game."

Some of these newer features are included in the Alpha, which the developers purposely allowed to be downloaded for free in order to receive feedback from the gaming community.
