"Orange is the New Black" is such a much loved Netflix series that the show has been renewed for three more seasons. Now, fans are all the more excited to know what happens when the show returns.

It was already announced on Twitter that "Orange is the New Black" season 4 will return to Netflix on Jun. 17, and since then, spoilers has kept coming. Although not much has been given away, some hints dropped at the recently concluded Television Critics Association press tour and other award shows will give viewers some idea on what to expect from the ladies over at the Litchfield Penitentiary.

Laura Prepon's Alex is Alive

First off, it was already established that Alex is definitely coming back. Laura Prepon's character is very much alive and she'll be fighting back. The actress revealed at Entertainment Weekly's SAG Awards party on Jan. 29 that Alex will have an "F you Piper" moment.

Poussey–Brook relationship explored

Samira Wiley, who plays Poussey in the Netflix series, revealed at the TCA that she hopes something happens between her character and Kimiko Glenn's Brook Soso. She told AfterEllen.com, "We get some screen time together. #Pousoso!"

More Backstories and new characters

As Prepon and Wiley revealed in separate interviews, "Orange is the New Black" season 4 will explore backstories of some of its characters. There will also be new faces arriving or "more people in the prison you'll get to see," as Prepon put it, according to EW.

Natasha Lyonne's Nicky to return or not?

Nicky is a fan-favorite character who got sent to Maximum Security. Although it's not confirmed, some reports mentioned that Lyonne and her character will make a comeback next season. Fans can only hope that it's true.

Judy King's participation as the new inmate

Judy King is just one of the many newcomers to the penitentiary and Wiley, as well as Blair Brown who portrays the role, think that the character is interesting. Judy King is the newest inmate and is at the same time, the most high-profile considering she's a celebrity chef.

With new characters and new plotlines, "Orange is the New Black" is expected to be just as — if not more — captivating than previous seasons. As Prepon had promised during the SAG Awards, "This season I think is one of our best by far, and I think the fans are going to be really happy."
