Unfortunately for the pirates, Big Mom was able to catch up with them aboard the Thousand Sunnies ship, and there is no other way but to face the threat posed by the powerful Yonkou. In chapter 893, it is rumored that the Straw Hats will get some help from the Sun Pirates.
There are many possibilities in the Straw Hat pirates' up-close encounter with Big Mom in "One Piece" chapter 893. According to the latest plot predictions, there is a chance that Big Mom will be stopped from destroying the ship and killing everyone on it, and that is through Sanji's cake. It appears that Big Mom's destructive tantrums can be stopped if she will have a taste of a delicious cake. At this point, she is fuming mad that the wedding cake promised to her is not yet served. If Sanji arrives just in time to serve the cake, the Straw Hats can have their sigh of relief.
Interestingly, the "One Piece" chapter 893 plot predictions suggest that the Sun Pirates will arrive to help the Straw Hats in a potentially huge battle against the Big Mom pirates. This could happen out of the blue, but there is a reason for the Sun Pirates to protect the Straw Hat pirates, given that the latter also helped them in their fight against Doflamingo. When Luffy defeated the villain, the Sun Pirates offered to return the favor in the future.
Meanwhile, it is rumored that Luffy will achieve a great development in his power in "One Piece" chapter 893. Away from his teammates, Luffy decided to face Big Mom's Sweet Commander, Charlotte Katakuri, once again inside the Mirror World. The Straw Hat leader wants to unlock a new technique, specifically the Observation Haki that is also used by Katakuri. This power-up will allow him to get a short glimpse of the future to prepare for upcoming attacks. It is not clear if Luffy will be successful this time around to master the Observation Haki, but the fans are even more hopeful that Luffy will learn the Gear 5 technique instead.
