Fans of "Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath" can now enjoy their favorite game anytime, anywhere with the help of their own mobile devices, after Oddworld Inhabitants announced that they are bringing the action-adventure video game to Android and iOS systems.

Initially released for Xbox back in 2005, an updated version of the game is now playable in smartphones and tablets. The new and improved version of the first-person/third-person shooter game now has fully customizable controls in its touchscreen. It is also equipped with new leaderboards and HD visuals as well as a wider language support featuring different regions.

"Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath" became popular because of its one-of-a-kind gameplay, amazing graphics, as well as interesting characters.

Players need to take the role of a bounty hunter dubbed as Stranger, and they need to look for criminals in Mudos, a Western wasteland, to be able to earn the in-game money called moolah. They can either bring in the outlaws dead or alive. They have the option to play as a first-person shooter or as a third-person platform player, while going over different areas like towns, industrial zones, or forests.

The game is also popular because of the witty exchanges between the characters, which have the tendency to trash talk each other.

Mobile players who will use their iOS devices can download the game using their iPhone 4s, iPad 2, iPad mini, or the fifth generation of the iPod touch. Meanwhile, those who will download the game using Google Play for Android devices need at least a 1.2 GHz dual core CPU, a minimum of 1 GB RAM with Adreno 220 GPU, an Nvidia Tegra 3, an ARM Mali 400-MP, PowerVR SGX 543MP, an Intel HD Graphics or even a Vivante GC1000 GPU in order to make the game work.

The mobile version of "Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath" can be purchased for $6.
