The leading desktop and laptop graphic chips provider will be looking to complete its Maxwell lineup of GPUs by releasing its GTX 960M, 950M and GT 940M series of mobile gaming chips. It is expected that NVIDIA will be looking to unveil more details on Mar. 3, 2015, where the company will host a press conference. NVIDIA's primary concern of hosting the press event will be to showcase products that will 'Redefine future of gaming'.

There is also a high possibility that the graphics solution provider will be looking to unveil its next Shield Tablet at the event. The upcoming successor of the Android gaming slate will feature the company's powerful Tegra X1 chipset, which is based on the Maxwell architecture. However, if the tech firm does not manage to showcase its gaming tablet, then it will be certain that it will be unveiling the product at the Game Developers Conference 2015, which is due to be held on March 17.

Alongside NVIDIA will be its only rival in the desktop and laptop graphics processor market, AMD, which is also expected to put its offerings on display, which can range from the company's R9 300 series of graphic chips as well as its TressFX 2.0 tech, which adds additional realism to gaming titles. According to information posted by wccftech, the upcoming chips will have the following specifications.

  1. GeForce GTX 960M: GM107, 640 Cuda cores, 2 GB GDDR5, 128 memory bus width
  2. GeForce GTX 950M: GM107, 640 Cuda cores, 2 GB GDDR5, 128 memory bus width
  3. GeForce GTX 940M: GM108, 384 Cuda cores, 4 GB DDR3, 64 memory bus width
  4. GeForce GTX 930M: GM108, 256 Cuda cores, 2 GB DDR3, 64 memory bus width

The remainder of the specifications ranging from TDP (thermal design power) and memory bandwidth have not been detailed by the company but additional information is most likely to be present at either one of the upcoming events.
