'No Man's Sky' release date news: players can enjoy three gameplay options

"No Man's Sky" will be the first game of its kind, with players given several quintillion planets to explore. Those who want to be part of the upcoming space game will have three options to choose from for its gameplay when it arrives next month.

The Bitbag reported that players will have the option to conquer the game in three different ways. First is to simply explore the vast open world galaxy. Hello Games, the game developer, has created the game to provide up to 18 quintillion planets with their 64-bit seed number planet creator.

Any player can visit any planet of their choosing as long as its galactic coordinates are known, and the player's ship is capable of doing hyperspace jumps toward their desired planet.  Their ship's fuel capacity also plays an important role here.

Trigger-happy players and those who just want to know how capable they are in terms of fighting will enjoy the second way to enjoy the game. Players can join the planet's own creature in their own little war, or go on rogue missions and wreak havoc on every planet out there. However, every player's action will have its own consequence, so player needs to be ready to be haunted down, similar to the GTA-style police take-down, either by police-like space patrols or another race.

The third gameplay is to be a businessman-like player, which is to mine resources, trade them and buy upgrades for their ship. A free market does exist where players can buy and sell stuff needed for the game.

Movie News Guide reported that the upcoming game will contain no single-player missions or side quests.

"No Man's Sky will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC by June 21 in North America, June 22 in Europe and June 24 in the U.K. It is now available for pre-orders on both platforms for US$60.
