Nexus 6 price discount: Save $300 when buying Nexus 6

Amazon has great deals for people who are shopping for last minute holiday gifts. The retail giant is offering whopping low prices for the Nexus 6.

The Motorola Nexus 6 is now offered at $349.99 at Amazon for the 32 GB variant. It comes in either white or blue color option. Being a relatively new phone, it's already an impressive drop in price, about $300 from the retail price when the phone was first released.

As for the 64 GB variant, Amazon will be selling the Midnight Blue color option for $299, slashing down $400 from the retail price. However, this deal is not available until Jan. 3, 2016.

Since the release of the more recent devices, the Nexus 5X and 6P, Nexus 6's price has been slashed off several times, but this year the phone has reached its cheapest price.

Earlier, the Nexus 6 was sold for $249, slashing down $400 from the retail price. But the $349 price is still considered a good deal given that the phone is just a year old.

Orders placed today will be delivered between Dec. 29 and Jan. 1, 2016.

Buyers who are interested in buying the Nexus 6 for personal use or for gift purposes can get the unlocked device from Amazon. This means that consumers can choose which of the leading mobile service carriers to use.

The phone is already updated, carrying the latest operating system (OS), the Android Marshmallow. Other specs include 5.9-inch screen with 2550x1440 AMOLED display, Snapdragon 805 processor, 3,220 mAh battery, a 13-megapixel main camera and dual front-facing speakers.

Amazon did not indicate if the price is part of a sale or promotion, but it is expected that the phone will easily run out of stock.

Those who want to buy a Nexus phone should head to Amazon's website now. For those who cannot catch the $349 deal, Nexus 6 will still be offered but with a lower discount of $150, pricing the phone at $499 with an estimated delivery of Dec. 24 to 31.
