New songbook from Keith and Kristyn Getty

Modern hymnwriters Keith and Kristyn Getty have released a new songbook to accompany their latest album, Hymns for the Christian Life.

The album was produced by Charlie Peacock and Ed Cash, and captures the trademark Celtic folk sound of the husband and wife duo.

The Gettys teamed up with several popular artists for the album.

Ricky Skaggs features on the track "Simple Living".

"A Mother's Prayer" is a collaboration with Moya Brennan.

Their rendition of the popular hymn "In Christ Alone" saw them team up with bluegrass singer Alison Krauss.

The Gettys say: "As we continue to write modern hymns for the church, this collection comes from the challenge to consider not just what we sing on those occasions when we’re all together but how the shared lyrics of our faith speak into all the moments in between."

Digital and physical copies of the songbook are available to order at www.gettymusic.com/USA-songbooks.aspx
