After the get-together of two Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) teams from Washington, D.C. and New Orleans in the "NCIS" crossover special last week, fans will take a break from the crime drama series as the next episode won't air until Jan. 19.

In the next episode, titled "Déjà Vu," the team will investigate the death of a seaman who was supposed to appear in court to testify, according to the synopsis from TV Guide.

Upon digging deeper into the case, the team discovers that an international human trafficking ring, which was long believed to be no longer operational, actually still exists.

The upcoming episode also mentioned about McGee (Sean Murray) spending the night in a colleague's house, when a storm causes loss of power in the city. Will he be sleeping over at Tony DiNozzo's (Michael Weatherly) house or will he be crashing in somebody else's place.

It remains to be seen, but if he ends up at Tony's, the episode is expected to feature funny scenes.

While waiting for a new episode from the series, fans are now wondering what Tony's fate would be like in the series, after Weatherly announced that he's leaving the show.

On Jan. 6, the actor took to Twitter to confirm that he'll be leaving "NCIS" when season 13 concludes.

Speculations are rife as to how the producers will write off one of the show's most loved characters.

One of the popular guesses is that Tony will get assigned to a different NCIS office, which will force him to leave his current team. There's also the speculation that he will be killed in action, which will truly be heartbreaking for millions of his fans.

However Tony makes his exit, fans will surely be sad since he's one of the characters who make the show interesting. But Tony is still around until season 13 ends, and fans should just cherish those remaining episodes.

"NCIS" will return on Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
