Fans missed the gang from "NCIS: Los Angeles" this week with the absence of one episode, but when the show returns next Monday, G. Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and Sam (LL Cool J) continue their search for Anastasia or Anna's (Bar Paly) father.

In the first part of the two-part episode, titled "Matryoshka," G. Callen and the team found proof that Anna's father, Arkady Kolcheck (Vyto Ruginis), is still alive somewhere. They then found out that he was in Russia all along, imprisoned together with a CIA agent presumed to be long dead.

When the show returns next week, Callen, Sam, and Anna will be in Russia to pursue a search and rescue mission for Arkady. The team will come up with a dangerous plot involving breaking Anna's father and the agent out of prison.

Elsewhere in the episode, the mystery surrounding Callen's identity will soon be revealed. As seen on the promo trailer for "Matryoshka Part 2," Callen will finally know the answers to his enigmatic identity, particularly what the G in his name stands for, while in Russia.

The orphan has been living an incomplete life because he never knew what his real name is. For the past seasons, fans have also wondered about Callen's identity and they will give anything to know the real answer to the question.

But all that could change this season, when the truth will finally be revealed.

Meanwhile, back in Los Angeles, Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) will bring along Eric (Barrett Foa) to a field assignment. It will be one of those rare moments that the technician can be seen working outside the walls of the Ops Center.

There's going to be a big moment of truth in the next episode and fans wouldn't want to miss it. Catch "NCIS: Los Angeles'" "Matryoshka Part 2" on Monday, Feb. 22, at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
