The holiday locker codes that publisher 2K Games posted for its current basketball simulation title, "NBA 2K16," is still available for use until this month.
According to Ecumenical News, there were also two additional locker codes which gamers can use to unlock players for their use. The industry follower posted the locker codes for Kristaps Porzingis (PJHK3-E122X-LEZ9J-4VOWS-TS62R) and a Limited Amethyst code for Brian David Scalabrine (TR903-OLFCD-LE2DC-ADT49-OSH21).
Porzingis is a Latvian professional hoops player, currently with the New York Knicks as a fourth overall draft pick for the NBA last year. Scalabrine, meanwhile, is a former professional basketball player who now serves as a TV analyst for the Boston Celtics.
Aside from the two locker codes, the codes for other players from the holiday list are still usable. According to Latinos Post, a mix of both current and retired NBA greats can still be unlocked on the "NBA 2K16" hardcourt. Locker codes are still available for legends such as Larry Bird (ZG9QQ-VYAVK-I2ZUD-TU2VL-ZFYLQ), Michael Jordan (FZV7P-FQ9SU-SRNZZ-9AB27-9ZUUT), Karl Malone (Q1585-CPEWU-HZNWY-WK2EW-V1E4C) and Shaquille O'Neal (GSUM3-ESARX-GXD3T-S3QJQ-FIETU).
In addition, codes are also still usable for current NBA players like LeBron James (9BUQS-QTKDU-ASYJU-3W183-QVXBC) and Paul George (WR9KL-6NQ9Z-CWWGF-MVG4C-T3L8P). Meanwhile, the Limited Dynamic Diamond code for Steph Curry (AVVAO-NEK9A-RSZML-E3H00-W1WXJ) is still listed as well.
The holiday locker codes came after the fourth patch for "NBA 2K16" last month, which introduced general improvements for system interface, gameplay and as design, as well as MyPlayer and MyCareer modes-focused tweaks. It also solved platform-specific issues such as player and game editing glitches for the PS4 and ball possession camera freeze bugs for the PC version.
"NBA 2K16" is currently available for older-gen Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles, current-gen Xbox One and PlayStation 4, as well as for PC. There is also a mobile version of the title for both iOS and Android devices.
