Lamar Odom continues to be on life support after being discovered unconscious last Wednesday at the Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada.

Odom is believed to have suffered from a possible overdose (Cocaine and a herbal-like substance alternative to Viagra) that may have been the cause for him to suffer multiple strokes and possibly brain damage.

Odom checked into the Love Ranch last Saturday with some female companions but was discovered only several days after. A woman went into the room and discovered his unconscious body lying face down.

The manager called 911 and revealed that there was a mucus-like substance coming out from Odom's nose and mouth.

Tubes had to be inserted into Odom who was having difficulty breathing. To date, doctors say that Odom has had several organ failures, including his kidneys. He is currently on kidney dialysis three to four hours a day.

The tragic news drew concerns and close family and friends like Khloe Kardashian and teammate Kobe Bryant rushed to his side when word came out.

Odom has not played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) since 2014 when he played for the New York Knicks. His career took a nosedive ever since he left the Los Angeles Lakers in 2011. After Los Angeles, Odom played for the Dallas Mavericks and then made a brief return to the Los Angeles Clippers, the same team that drafted him fourth overall during the 1999 NBA Draft.

Latest reports reveal that Odom had indeed taken in Cocaine and up to 10 sexual performance supplements before being hospitalized.

Staff members confirmed that Odom had taken cocaine but were not able to confirm if Odom had continued to take it before his unconscious body was discovered.

A report from ESPN says that Odom has been showing signs of improvement but doctors cautioned that such is not an indication that the former NBA players is out of the woods just yet.
